Stacked corrugated polypropylene sheets in different colours

The sheet is the basis of many DelloPlast® products. Its corrugated structure delivers rigidity and mechanical strength at low weight, and the surface is prepared both for offset printing and for industrial thermoforming. Material, thickness, dimensions and colours are defined together with the client's engineering team.

Sheet production

From extrusion to finished sheet.

During extrusion, the polypropylene passes through a flat die with hundreds of holes that form the sheet's cells, like a row of linked balloons. A vacuum calibrator then sets the thickness and applies a thermal shock that stabilises the sheet. The process is continuous, so the sheet comes out uniform at any length.
